ECW Review: 06/10/08

Was this show as boring as the NBA Finals? Take it away Mauie, the Sasha Vujacic to my Kobe Bryant. Mauie: How come I'm Vujacic? You can't even touch the rim. Enjoy. T.Cow: Really good, fast paced start to the show. I’m so glad that they didn’t turn Bourne/Sydal into the next James Curtis. He and Kofi make for a pretty exciting tag team. When this program is over, I’d like to see them get the belts from Miz and Morrison. Mauie: I hate to say this, but I was more impressed by Knox's beard than the actual match. That thing is glorious. Anyway, this was short, fun match, that showed the potential of Bourne. He's like a white Kofi Kingston. Even though Bourne doesn't come close to the awesomeness that is James Curtis, he has the makings of being a star. T.Cow: I don’t know who this Tiffany chick is, but I got a weird feeling in my pants when I saw her. She HAS to be Kelly Kelly’s sister. Mauie: Tiffany is like a thicker, hotter version of Kelly Kelly. I approve. T.Cow: Ok, I’ve never been high on Kelly in the ring, but this is probably her best performance ever. Not sure if it’s a case of holding her own or a carry job from Victoria, but this was definitely good. That bump looked absolutely sick. Mauie: Victoria carrying Kelly to an above average match proves that she is the best women wrestler the E has in its ranks. I hate that she's been reduced to being the comedic heel sidekick. She should be chasing after the Women's Title. I couldn't stop laughing when Kelly hit the floor though. She sold it like a champ. T.Cow: Great, so not only does Finlay have a midget son that uses Super Soaker, but now he’s also carrying a blow-up shillelagh? And why does Estrada still have an entrance music and video if he’s not an active member of the roster? By the time you finished this paragraph, the match should have been over already. Mauie: I can't stand Estrada as a wrestler. He was PERFECT at being Umaga's mouthpiece, and he even did a good job at being GM. Watching him wrestle does not make me happy. T.Cow: *Yawn* Mauie: There's a better chance of TCow finding a date (1%) than me being interested in where Estrada/Delany is heading.(0%) T.Cow: Ha, Delaney doing the Irish jig was awesome. Finlay hitting him with the shillelagh was even more awesome. Mauie: I'm over the multiple matches. Finlay hitting Delaney was kind of a heel thing to do. Could Horny be next? I hope so. T.Cow: Not really sure what the point of this is. If it leads to Mark Henry filling in for Big Show and depriving me of a possible chain wrestling match at NOC, there will be hell to pay. Mauie: I think this will lead to Henry costing Show the match at NOC. And if you ever read the Confident Picks, you would know that I'm never wrong.(shut up). T.Cow: It doesn’t take Ms. Cleo to figure out who took the loss here. Match was pretty good for the main event, but the predictable finish left a sour taste. Mauie: I have a bad feeling that Punk, being tired of losing with Kane, will turn around and cash in the MITB for the ECW Title. That's the only way I can explain jobbing to MizMo all the time. T.Cow: First half of the show was really good, but the second half pulled it down fast. It’s like if I was booking the show the first half and then handed it off to Mauie for the second half. Mauie: Outside of the opening match, I didn't find this show too entertaining. I don't care about anything involving Estrada, as of right now. I don't care about Show/Henry, and Punk has been losing so much that you almost expect him to lose. It's been said countless times, but the draft can't come soon enough.
